Kuttu (Buckwheat flour) ki puri

I am Sushma Upadhyaya welcomes you on my blog Khaana Khazana Tasty. Today's recipe is Kuttu (buckwheat flour) ki kachori.This dish is very popular during fast. Puris made from kuttu atta and potatoes.It is very tasty and healthy apart from being gluten free.Gluten free puri recipe dough is made with buckwheat flour and mashed potatoes and deep fried into hot oil. During vrat (fast) like ekadashi, Mahashivratri, Janmashtami some food items are restricted and only few food is allowed.That time this is a good option. Kuttu kachori can be eat with any falahari vegetable.So let us start the recipe.



Course - dinner during fast

Preparation time - 10 min
Cooking time - 10 min
Serving - 1

Ingredients -
Kuttu atta - 1 bowl
Potatoes - 2 medium size
Ginger - very small piece
Green chillies -2
Rock salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Oil - for frying








Method of preparation -
1.Boil and peel potatoes.
2.Chop ginger and chillies in small pieces.
3.Take kuttu atta ina big bowl and add mashed potatoes, chopped chillies,ginger,salt and pepper.
4.Mix well without adding water with hands and make a dough of it

5.Grease hands with oil and make small balls from it.


6.Roll small balls for making puris using rolling pin.



7.Heat oil in a pan for frying.
8.Fry all puris in hot oil till they become golden in colour and crispy.



9. puris are ready to serve.
10. Serve hot wiyh any falahari veg.
