Khajur (dates) dry fruit barfi

Today's recipe is very new and innovative. It is Khajur dry fruit barfi. It is very useful for all in winter season. I have used almost all general dry fruits with dates. Dates barfi is a very healthy and tasty recipe without sugar. It boosts energy level and availability of nutrients. Dates are quite beneficial to health because dates contain fibre, iron and other minerals and help in digestion of food, relief in constipation, strengthen the bones, cure anemia and allergies etc. Khajur dry fruit barfi is quite easy to prepare due to less time required. It is naturally sweet, delicious, tasty and mouthwatering to almost all the people. Khajur barfi is a small packet of nutrients and healthy so it satisfies your sweet tooth without any negative effect. So let us start the recipe.

Ingredients -
Khajur (dates) - 250 gm
Cashews - 50 gm
Almonds - 50 gm
Walnuts - 50 gm
Pista - 20 gm
Chirongi - 20 gm
Dry coconut - 50 gm
Cardamom powder - 1/8 teaspoon
Posta - 20 gm
Pure ghee - 2 tablespoon
Method of preparation -
1.Remove seeds from the dates and grind them in a jar of a mixture.
2.Grate dry coconut and chop cashews, almonds, pista and walnuts.
3.Heat a heavy bottom pan at medium flame and put ghee in it.
4.Fry posta in hot ghee and add one by one all dry fruits and fry till they become golden in colour.
5,Add in last, dates and cardamom powder in the mixture.
6.Off the flame and mix the mixture very well.
7.Grease the plate with little ghee.
8.Transfer the mixture in greased plate and flat the mixture with hands.
9.After half an hour cut the mixture in small pieces and separate them.
10,Khajur dry fruit is ready to serve.
Things to remember -
1.Any other dry fruits can be use in this recipe.
2.Fry dry fruits carefully otherwise they will give bitter taste.
3.These barfis can be stored for 15 days.
