Namkeen Sewai / Sewai Upma

Ingredients -
Vermicelli (sewai) - 1 cup
Onion - 1 medium size
Boiled potatoes - 2
Green peas - 2 tablespoon
Green chillies - 2
Ginger - small piece
Carrot - 1 small
Cauliflower - 50 gm
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Red chilli powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Oil - 4 tablespoon
Method of preparation -
1.Heat a pan. Roast sewai on medium flame till they get dark pink in color. Take out the sewai and keep aside.
2.Peel and cut all vegetables in small pieces.
3.In a pan heat oil and add chopped onion in it. Saute for a minute.
4.Add chopped ginger and green chillies in it and saute for 30 sec.
5.Add all chopped vegetables in it and saute till they become pink in color and turn soft.
6.Add salt and turmeric powder.
7.Add roasted sewai in it and mix well.
8.Add 2 cup of water in it and cover the lid.
9.Cook it for 5 minutes at low flame.
10.Open the lid after 5 min. Namkeen Sewai is ready.
11.Serve hot with tomato sauce or chutney.
Tips -
1.Vegetables of your choice can be added.
2.Garam masala and more spices can be added to make more spicy.
3.Paneer or cheese can be added to enhance the taste of sewai.
