Kabuli Chana Chatpata

Welcome on my blog. Today I am here with a mouthwatering recipe - Kabuli Chana Chatpata. Kabuli chana chaat is a delicious combination of white chickpeas, onion, tomato, red chilli sauce and garlic. It is a low fat starter and a great replacement for deep fried snacks. It is fat free, rich in protein and healthy snack for everyone. It tastes so yummy that even those children, who don't like to eat vegetables love to eat this. This chat can be prepared very easily within no time.It is a delicious and satisfying snack besided healthy and low fat. It is a power packed recipe that can be used in breakfast.You can also flavour it according to your choice of ingredients and you can easily be innovative in making this recipe such as spicy, sweet or tangy.


So let us start the recipe. 
Ingredients -
Kabuli chana (chickpeas) - 100 gm
Onion - 1 small
Tomato - 1 small
Capsicum - 1 small
Garlic - 4 cloves
Green chilli - 1
Coriander leaves - few
Lemon - 1
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Black salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Extra virgin olive oil - 1 teaspoon
Red chilli sauce - 1 tablespoon






Method of preparation -
1.Soak kabuli chana in water for 5-6 hours.
2.Boil kabuli chana in water with salt.


3.Cut onion, tomato,chilli, capsicum and coriander leaves in very small pieces.


4.Grind garlic and extract the juice of lemon.


5.Take boiled kabuli chana and all ingredients in a large bowl.



6.Mix properly.
7.Kabuli chana chaat is ready to serve.


Things to remember -
1.Fruits and vegetables of choices can be used.
2.Olive oil can be avoided if anybody doesn't want to take oil.
