Beetroot Tomato Soup

Today's recipe is Beetroot Tomato Soup. It is a very nutritious soup which is full of nutrients.It is a very healthy beet soup that is so simple to make. Cloves and sauted onion gives a good flavour to the soup. Tomato and beetroot is a comforting and easy dish to make on cold rainy days. This recipe uses no cornflour or heavy cream, only butter is used for enhancing the taste. So let us start the recipe.

Ingredients -
Beetroot - 250 gm
Tomatoes - 4
Onion - 1
Garlic - 6 cloves
Cloves - 4
Butter - 2 teaspoon
Cinnamon powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Method of preparation -
1.Wash and peel beetroot and onion.
2.Cut onion, beetroot and tomatoes in pieces.
3.Heat pressure cooker on medium flame and put butter in it.
4.Fry onion and garlic in it and add cloves.
5.Add beetroot and saute for a minute.
6.Add tomatoes and saute for a minute.
7.Add all spices and 1 cup of water in it.
8.Close the lid of cooker and cook for a whistle.
9.Open the lid of pressure cooker and let it cool.
10.Take a jar of mixure and grind the boiled beetroot and tomatoes.
11.Add required water in it and cook again for 2 minutes.
12.Beetroot tomato soup is ready and add extra butter at the time of serving.
